At Athena Custom Homes, the most important thing for you to know about green building is that it is not for a select few.  Many aspects of green building - like good construction practices, attention to detail, and quality materials - are part of every home we build.

It’s also important to understand that a house isn’t simply “green” or “not green”.  There are many aspects of green building and different degrees to which a house can be green.  There are many simple and inexpensive ways to achieve a level of green building.  If you’re not interested in or able to afford some of the more expensive options or systems, don’t feel you have to abandon the idea of having a green home.
